Overdue update

Praise the Lord that as I write this we are enjoying great fellowship with our church family here at Grace Independent Baptist Church in Ocean Springs. We have a slight break in the schedule so we are taking care of some errands, doing some work at the church and enjoying our family.
Life in the travel trailer has required some adjustments but for having 4 kids and 2 adults in such a confined space, things are going great. We are pretty organized and finding out the best ways to manage our space wisely.
Many things have happened over the past few weeks and time will not permit me to list them all in any details but we certainly do rejoice that we now have two new partners in ministry which brings us closer to the Philippines!
We also have seen God do some great things in providing us with meetings and contacts on short notice or under what we might consider odd circumstances. We are excited that God has seen fit to further us toward the field using ways that only He can orchestrate.
Our family has seen some issues with our vehicle in recent weeks but the Lord has been abundantly gracious is not allowing us to break down where help would be difficult to find and it has also been a blessing to see the way that God's people have been tremendously generous with their time, money and talents in helping us stay road worthy.
Thank you so much for all who have been praying for us, we are encouraged at what the Lord has done not only in our meetings but also in our hearts and family. The tribulations and challenges that God has allowed have been stepping stones in our faith and we trust that each experience will lend itself to added wisdom, encouragement and expectation when we do reach the field - for we know that God will get us through those challenges as He has through all others.
Our independence day brought new experiences to as in NYS fireworks are illegal and down here we have six year olds lighting them off... We had a great time at the church on Saturday and a number of men and teens played flag football (which quickly became tackle) in a soaking rain that had the field looking more like a lake - needless to say, I had a great time.
We will be leaving here on Saturday to head to New Iberia, LA, Shreveport, LA and then on to the Dallas TX area.
Please pray that our vehicle would run great on this trip and that the Lord would be pleased and glorified in the meetings and every witness and interaction we have in between.
