The girls and I are back on the road this January with some great meetings in South Louisiana. We started the month in St. Amant where a visit to a church became an open door to present the burden for the Philippines. We also had opportunity to be with one of our favorite churches in the country - Fundamental Baptist is Livingston Louisiana. Pastor Silvertooth is a man of God and the Lord has blessed this church with some gifted singers, servants and students of God's word that make every visit an absolute delight. After presenting and preaching there we were invited to come back through one night during their missions conference since we will be in the area to preach. We moved then to Lafayette, LA to our first missions conference of this new year at Temple Baptist Church, Pastored by Gerald Heard. Little did I know at the time but Pastor Silvertooth from Fundamental was the keynote speaker. We have had a great time here despite it being unseasonably cold here in South LA. We even had our water lines freeze in the trailer, I didnt think that was supposed to happen in the south...
The conference has been a blessing with a hospitable church body and a fervent desire to increase their faith promise committment to reach this world for the Lord Jesus.
The girls are doing well although Emma is a little under the weather again. Pray for us as we will move next to New Iberia, LA and then back to Ocean Springs later this month before heading to Georgia and North Carolina.
